Ah, New York City. For tourists, there’s nothing quite like taking a bite out of the Big Apple for the very first time. But with so many things to do and the amount of special events and sites to see, trying to tour the city can be an extremely daunting task. Luckily, NYC bus tours make things easier for the tourist trying to see it all. With bus tours, you’re able to tour NYC in a manageable manner that allows for easy travel and convenient access to all of the city’s most breathtaking monuments.

Here are three must-see New York City attractions for your next bus tour:

Times Square
Located at the heart of Manhattan, Times Square is an intersection for tourists, entertainers, thrill seekers, and individuals from all walks of life. Times Square is home to the famous New Year’s ball, as well as many of Broadway’s most beloved shows. In Times Square, you will hardly find yourself looking down because of all of the dazzling lights and advertisements surrounding you! If you’re looking for the epicenter of Manhattan, Times Square is the place to be!

Central Park
Opened in 1857, this monumental New York City park spans 843 acres, from the East to the West side of Manhattan. The park sees over 35 million visitors a year; this is probably because there are no shortage of things to do here! With the Central Park Zoo, playgrounds, various trails and boating opportunities, there is something there for everyone. And if you’re a John Lennon fan, be sure to check out Strawberry Fields and his monument!

Battery Park
Located in downtown Manhattan, Battery Park is a historic park that offers visitors a peek into the past. From Battery Park, there is easy travel via ferry available to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. In the early 20th century, Ellis Island welcomed NYC’s immigrants, who became an integral part of the cultural melting pot that is Manhattan today.

So what are you waiting for? Get out there and get exploring!
