Though Coronavirus has kept us all defaulting to inside fun, several campers are as determined as ever to get out in nature and pitch their tents. Camping has proven to be an excellent stress reliever in among thousands of people, and campsites are reaching new popularity levels as people flee from their quarantines and take to the trails. You may not think that going out into nature to live for a few days could pose a contamination risk, but this video shares a few things you should know about camping during Covid-19.
The CDC recommends still keeping your distance from other campers, especially since trails can be narrow. Be sure to wear your mask if you can, and pack the essentials.
If you are camping with others, be sure to establish a hand washing station early in your trip that you can use often. Wear gloves if you are planning to open doors to public bathrooms or showers. All-in-all, camping itself hasn’t changed too much during this season, but it should be kept quite clean! Stay safe!
