Big on many people’s bucket lists is to take a trip outside the continental U.S. The good news is, there are opportunities to do that without having to take your passport along, and one of the most popular overseas U.S. destinations is Hawaii. The vast majority of those visitors go to the island of Oahu, which is by far the most populated of the Hawaiian islands and also is home to the state’s largest city, Honolulu. If you came to Hawaii to be active, there are a number of things you can do. In addition to golf, you can go surfing or do a number of other waters ports such as wind sailing or riding a boogie board. If staying on land is more your thing, there are numerous walking paths and hiking trails, as well as activities such as horse riding.
You can’t go wrong with a Hawaiian vacation, because there are so many things to do that appeal to so many different tastes. Whether you prefer lying on the beach or being active in the water or on land, you will definitely find something to enjoy.
